Sutton Baynham Farm, Sutton Road, Littledean, Gloucestershire GL14 2TU — a private hamlet at the head of a valley on the Cotswold edge in the Forest of Dean, near the Wye Valley.

Five individual cottages: Brambles (2 plus infant), Meadow Byre (4), Orchard Barn (6), The Stables (6), and The Manor (8). Groups can book Get-Togethers (Manor, Stables, and Brambles — 16 guests) or exclusive use of all five cottages (up to 26). Check live dates at forestbarnholidays.co.uk.

Yes. Every cottage has its own private hot tub. Brambles has a balcony hot tub with valley views; the others have garden or courtyard hot tubs. Hot tub towels are included.

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at the time of booking; fees apply. The Manor, Orchard Barn, The Stables, and Meadow Byre have secure gardens or courtyard space and access to the Pet Meadow. Children are very welcome. On site there is a shared games room, outdoor play (swings, slide, trampoline, Dennis the Dexta tractor), under-5s play, chickens to feed, and baby/toddler equipment at no extra charge if requested at booking. Brambles is designed for couples rather than larger family stays.

Yes. Weddings and larger group bookings are hosted on an exclusive-use basis so they do not mix with individual cottage holidays. Forest Barns has licensed indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, two function rooms, and a premises licence for agreed bar sales. Very small discreet elopements may occasionally be arranged where they will not affect other guests. Contact Lynda before booking online for group or wedding dates.

Meadow Byre has level access from parking and mostly one-level living (two shallow steps into the master bedroom) but is not described as fully wheelchair accessible. Orchard Barn has a disabled parking space and a flat access route, with main accommodation on one level. The Stables has a ground-floor en-suite king bedroom and cloakroom. The Manor is set over three floors and is not suitable for reduced mobility. Read the Access Statement on each cottage page and speak with Lynda before booking.
